SAR had fun in the Outback!

SAR had a fantastic Memorial Day weekend at the EDRA 3peat ride at the Outba

ck. Darlene, Max, Lois, Carol Giles, the Summers, Cassee Terry, Kelly and many volunteers, worked their butts off to put on a superior multi-day ride. These folks are so good at what they do!

We loaded up 2 rigs, 5 horses, 2 juniors and 2 pups.

Friday: Celena sponsored her 2 students, Joslynn and Ansley (pancake) on the 50. It was Joslynn’s first 50, and Pancake’s 2nd. They had a blast all day long and completed in great shape…dirty, tired and grinning ear to ear!

Saturday: Ron on SAR Valiant Heart, Carol on SAR Dragon Rider and Celena on OMR Prophet rode a moderately paced 50, preparing for their “A-team”s first 2-day ride. Everyone finished looking great and ready for another day.

Sunday: Waking up to wet and dreary weather, Ron and Carol opted for the 30 instead of the 55. Congratulations to both Val and Rider, tieing for High Vet Score, and to Ron and Val for taking home the Best in Class Award! Celena had a challenging but overall great second day on Prophet, riding the 55 and coming in 1st and winning Best in Class👍.

The ride swag was incredible… thank you Dennis and Sue for your generous donation of the beautiful embroidered ride sweatshirts! There were Embroidered nibble nets, beautiful Anne York pottery with placing and the ride name, cookies, horse shampoo, sponges and more! Score!

Thank you EVERYONE who made this ride happen. If you haven’t been to a ride put on by this group, you’re missing out on the best❤️. This was such a memorable weekend💕

PHOTO CREDIT : Jala Neufeld! Thank you Jala.. not only do you take incredible pictures, you make us smile on the trail, and you saved Celena with a refreshing drink at the end of that 24 mile loop finishing day 3. We love you!🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎
